Difference between Weather resistant steel pipe VS Corten steel pipe 【ND Steel pipe 】:
Cowden steel pipe, also known as Corten steel pipe, is divided into two categories: ASTM A588 Corten A, CortenB, is the representative steel of the United States Cu-P series steel, which belongs to low alloy and high strength atmospheric corrosion resistance structural steel, called weather-resistant steel pipe in China. The Chinese steel grade is referred to as ND steel pipe, and the corresponding national standard is GB/T4171-2008 weather resistant structural steel pipe; The corresponding Japanese standard is JISG3125-2004, including two grades SPA-H and SPA-C.
ND steel is 09CrCuSb GB/T150.2-2011, also known as 09CrCuSb copper antimony acid low temperature dew point corrosion steel (ND steel plate, ND steel pipe, 09CrCuSb steel plate, 09CrCuSb steel pipe, etc.). 09CrCuSb (ND steel) steel is based on coal-fired boilers, oil-fired boilers; Electric furnace heat exchange, smoke pipe, chimney, boiler air preheater, gas saving, heat exchanger, condensing cooler, evaporator and other uses for the purpose of development with excellent resistance to sulfuric acid dew point corrosion of hot rolled steel plate, steel pipe. Application:
It is widely used in power plants and oil refineries to manufacture economizers, air preheaters, heat exchangers and evaporators that work in high sulfur flue gas to resist the dew corrosion of sulfur flue gas.
